Co-Executive Director
Kelly Askew
Originally from Dodge City, Kansas, Kelly developed a passion for the arts early in life. Her academic journey led her to West Texas A&M University, where she pursued a degree in biochemistry. Despite her scientific background, Kelly's heart remained intertwined with creativity. In the fall of 2022, Kelly joined the 5.4.7 Arts Center, where she quickly became an integral part of the team and was hired as the Assistant Director in January 2023. At the center, Kelly finds fulfillment in fostering artistic expression, a role that seamlessly blends her love for both science and the arts.

Ann Dixson
Ann Dixson is an artist, arts advocate, and community organizer in Greensburg, Kansas. After a career in public service, she continues to hone her skills in paints, pastels, and watercolors; while sharing the power of creativity to bring people together.
Gallery Curator & Instructor
Nora Taylor
Gulnura “Nora” Taylor, exhibits remarkable versatility in her work, conveying emotions that resonate on both personal and universal levels. Born in Kyrgyzstan, Nora's artistic journey began early under her mother’s guidance, honing her skills in stitching and embroidery. She pursued her passion for dance, eventually becoming an instructor after graduating from Kyrgyz State National University in 1999 with a Master’s Degree in Business Management. After immigrating to the United States in 2012 and obtaining citizenship in 2017, Nora found a newfound love for watercolors, inspired by a supportive community of painters in Kansas. Nora has been a gallery curator at the 5.4.7 since 2018 and is one of our professional instructors during open studio.
